About Me

Hello, my name is Sarah Herbein! I've lived in 5 states, but have spent about half my life in Western North Carolina and am currently living near Morganton, NC. I studied Spanish and Anthropology at the College of Charleston, and worked at a Montessori school for 3 years after graduation. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, playing Zelda games, and knitting (or whatever my latest craft obsession is). My comfort movie is The Empire Strikes Back, and if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it would be the Mountain Goats.
My two children were born 8 and 5 weeks early, and moving through those experiences showed me the importance of community, connection, and education during the postpartum period. I am passionate about exploring the intersection of traditional and modern approaches, and I aim to care for people as an integrated whole.
